Anti Ageing treatment involves the combination of botox,fillers and chemical peel to attain the desired look.

The first sign of ageing is the wrinkles. These are difficult to camouflage and appears on your forehead, sides of the eyes and mouth. Even though the Wrinkles are a normal feature of the human face. It makes you look  tired or older. 

what is Botox? 

Botox is a brand name for a type of neurotoxin called Botulinum toxin. It is produced by the bacteria called  Clostridium botulinum. This toxin was used in medical field to paralyse some muscles in certain situations. However, it found it use in cosmetic field any very soon became very popular for anti ageing treatments.

So how is Botox done? 

The procedure is usually done as  outpatient procedure. Meaning you take the appointment and get it done in the clinic itself.it would take around 30 to 40 mins.

First, we will clean the area where you’ll be getting the injections and apply a numbing cream.so that the injection are less painful. After that by using a very fine needle, we will inject small amounts of Botox into the targeted muscles. The whole procedure usually only takes a 5 to 15 minutes, and there’s no downtime required afterwards.

Chemical peels.

A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is used for facial rejuvenation. It is used to treat fine wrinkles, colour and tone variations and even minor scar pigmentations.

It can be done alone or combined with other cosmetic procedures. The peels are of different types and variations. Deeper peels produce good results but they take time for recovery.

Types of chemical peels,

A chemical peel is basically a skin-resurfacing procedure. Depending on the depth of action there are three different types.

• Light chemical peel. A light (superficial- only top layers) chemical peel removes the outer layer of skin (epidermis). It could be  used for treating fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone.
• Medium chemical peel. A medium chemical peel  acts little deeper. It not only removes skin cells from the epidermis but also from part of deeper layers of skin(dermis).
• Deep chemical peel. A deep chemical peel removes skin cells even deeper. It may be needed for deeper wrinkles, scars or precancerous growths.

Chemical peels will not work on deep scars or wrinkles or tighten sagging skin.

How is the procedure done?

A chemical peel is usually done ain an outpatient facility. You would need around 1 to 2 hours accordingly. At the start we would clean the face and cover your eyes and hair for protection. There is no requirement for anaesthesia.

• By using a brush, cotton ball, gauze or sponge we apply a either a glycolic acid or salicylic acid.The treated skin will star to show some changes ,which is identified by the doctor as endpoint,
• Some times you may  feel mild stinging on your skin.
• We will apply another solution to neutralise or clean the solution of the skin.

During a medium chemical peel:

• These are trichloroacetic acid and sometimes in could be a combination with other. The treated skin will begin to whiten.
• After neutralisation we might apply a hand held cooler or ice to soothe.

During a deep chemical peel:

• We use different chemical for this type of peels. It may need staged procedure.Dermal FillersDermal fillers simply means -skin fillers. These are injectable materials which are injected deep to the skin to either increase a volume or fill up. By this it can change the contour of the part or lessen the wrinkle lines.

  Normally fillers are used  around your eyes, mouth and nose. The results evident immediately but the lost only for some time.

  People get  fillers to enhance their facial volume or iron out the wrinkle so that they get a youthful appearance.

  Why are dermal fillers used?

  As you age, there are many changes in the facial structure. One, we lose the volume of tissue because of this there will be hollowness. The loss could be fat or bone volume.

  Secondly, the skin loses its elasticity and become lax and Starts to sag.There main cause is loss of substance called collagen. your body starts to lose collagen.

  After deciding the area of your concerns and the volume needed we choose the pack. Using a thin needle, we would inject the calculated  amounts of fillers under your skin. The needle prick would be felt, however most people don’t experience much pain except for a small sting. This will be repeated for all the areas that were planned.The entire  process can take a few minutes or up to 40 mins.
